WASHINGTON AUTO SHOW

Continuing our wintertime tradition, the Straight Eights will attend the 2012 WASHINGTON AUTO SHOW, on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at DC’s Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt. Vernon Place, NW (at 7th Street). We’ll meet 9:30 am, at 7th and L Streets, NW, where you emerge beside the Convention Center from the Mount Vernon Place/Convention Center Metro Station escalator.
After we’ve made the rounds, we’ll reassemble in the lobby at the Mt. Vernon Place (main) entrance, between 12:30 and 12:45 pm, then we’ll head out for an optional lunch at Old Dominion Brewhouse, 1219 9th ST NW, right around the corner from the Convention Center, for lunch at 1:00 pm. The cost of the lunch will be $21 per person, paid at the restaurant. There are five entree choices, and it includes assorted appetizers and soft drinks.
