Once Again, We Will Be Gay on the Bay
Chesapeake Pride is always fun, this year they are having more vendors than ever. There is fun entertainment, and the scenery ain’t bad either. Come on down to Chesapeake Pride at Mayo Beach Park!
For the third year in a row, the Straight Eights will have a booth and car show at Chesapeake Pride, Saturday, August 20, 12:00–6:00 pm (http://www.chesapeakepridefestival.org/). However, you won’t have to be there before dawn and after dusk to display your car, as we won’t be on the festival grounds. Our cars will line the entrance, so you will be able to arrive and leave at normal times.
The Chesapeake Pride Festival is held at Mayo Beach Park, 4150 Honeysuckle Drive, Edgewater, MD. We will have a booth, and there will be live music, food, go-go boys and more! The organizers also suggest you wear your swimsuit! It is a beach after all!
Our cars will line the entrance, and we would love a minimum of 45 cars. The Festival begins at noon, so we ask that you be at the park around 11:30 am to park your car and enjoy the day. We will also organize a caravan again this year. Caravan information is below.

Caravan Information
If you would like to be part of a Caravan to the Mayo Beach to help with set up and park your car earlier, get yourself to the church on time. Actually, we will meet at the parking lot of Evangel Temple, 13901 Central Avenue, Upper Marlboro, MD, at 10:30 am. From there, we will caravan to the park.
