MONTHLY CRUISE-IN TRADITION CONTINUES
The June Cruise-In was a huge success with lots of cars and lots of peanut butter and treats!
Cruise-Ins of 2010 will continue to help Washington Animal Rescue League with ‘Pet Treat and Creamy Peanut Butter Drive.’
On Sunday, July 18, 2010, 3:00 pm, the Straight Eights will hold their THIRD CRUISE-IN of 2010 at the PW’s Sports Bar and Grill parking lot (www.pwssportsbar.com), 9855 Washington Blvd. North, Laurel, MD, 20723. (301-498-4840).
The CRUISE-INS will continue on the THIRD SUNDAY of every month through September 2010.
The Cruise-Ins are a great way to get to know members of the Straight Eights and see all the great cars new, old, restored, original, in process, and weird that many of us own. Bring a friend!
To make all the “Cruise-Ins” special, the Straight-Eights will continue the tradition of holding a PET TREAT & CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER DRIVE, benefiting the WASHINGTON ANIMAL RESCUE LEAGUE (www.warl.org) as we have since 2008. Just give your goods to Milton Stern, who will deliver them the following week.
